Not really sure about this item. As advertised, it works well on the driver's side, but I feel that it is more important to be able to see the position of the car from the passenger side of the car. The unit doesn't work if it is attached to the mirror on the passenger's side because it would be below the window-thus you wouldn't be able to see it when sitting in the driver's seat.

These are OK if you don't have to support heavy items, such as tools for example. The weight of heavy items cause the hook to bend down which results in the tool slipping off of the hook.

This is the third shoe rack that I have purchase. The first two stored the shoes at an angle which meant that you had to place a "push-pin" into the sole of the shoe to prevent the shoe from slipping off of the "tier". That was a complete nuisance because the pins didn't always stay attached to the sole. This unit has level tiers, hence no problem.
