We’ve been using this feeder for about 6 months. This unit helps us keep the right food portions for our cat. He was not scared of it when we first introduced it to him. He has tried to open it but it stays secure. He will sometimes sit on top of it and wiggle to shake loose some food bits and it doesn’t tip over. Overall, it fits our needs well in serving dry food to our pet.

Our cat started using it right away and uses it regularly. He eventually pulled the ball off, though he still plays with the ball by itself. Our cat prefers the scratching posts instead of the furniture so for us it’s a furniture saver.
