These cartridges are not the best lasting . This printer will not work without the Canon Cartridges attempting to override the chip just makes prints that are so feint they cannot be read . Very Expensive printer to operate so have an old printer to do all but my best quality printing

I find this Canon Printer very expensive to use regardless if you use the XXL XL or regular cartridges it is not economical . I use it for my good printing and have an old printer for my mass printing a Brother 240

sorry my previous review was not for this product , this cartridge worked great sadly my printer died and bought a new Canon MX 532 that would not work on anything but Canon Cartridges

Sadly these cartridges would not work in my Canon Pixma MX 532 printer the low ink warning came on and printer simply refused to print at all if you over rode the warning you simply got very feint or blank sheets printed not acceptable . Returned product and bought the Canon cartridges . I hope they make a chip resetter for the cartridge soon as I will for certain buy one this printer is too expensive to use with Canon Cartridges and not able to refill
