I searched a bunch before buying, so I figured I would comment on the product to help you ;) I've been using it for two weeks now, standing up about 1-3 times each day. So this is not a durability review, but it's not a "straight out of the box" either. First off, no problem with the delivery. Super fast (2 days), box arrived in decent shape (considering it's weight!). Everything was well packaged inside as well. No damage on any piece. The assembly is straight forward. It took me under an hour while chatting with someone, so nothing to say here. Instructions are simple and clear. The motors are noticeable, but way more silent than I expected. Honestly, nothing to complain about. My girlfriend and I work from home, her desk is right by mine, and the noise doesn't bother her even in a meeting. Raising/lowering is fast and efficient, with a nice speed control at the end, so no jerking. The whole setup is quite heavy, which is a good thing (it absorbs vibrations better). Everything is clean enough, and I don't know if I was lucky, but the logo stickers on the legs are actually smaller than I expected after reading other reviews. I had planned to mask them, but I won't need to. The controls are simple and efficient. Buttons, not touch things that tend to break, but still neat. Everything is straight forward. When using the up/down arrows, there is sometimes a slight break in a otherwise continuous movement, which is strange, but not a problem. Once you have your positions set in memory, the up/down movement is perfect, and I find I no longer use the arrows anyway. My major concern was about stability when raised, as I work on my computer with two wide monitors everyday, all day. I'm in meetings all the time, so I didn't want something that would shake and make my partners seasick ;) Turns out that this base is quite sturdy. I personally experience minimal to no shaking both low and high while typing or working normally. I even have a deeper top than I'm supposed to (temporary while building my hardwood top). That being said, my monitors are directly on the table, not on extension arms, which could probably make the wobble a bit more noticeable. But even then, I wouldn't be worried. Of course, if I take the table and try to shake it, is does. But I don't see how this would ever happen in a real world use, and even then, it's a small shaking, nothing that would make things move or fall on/from the table. Even when my big cat jumps on the table, it stays unshaken. All in all, I'm very pleased. I was looking for a good quality American made base, but after extensive research, it's next to impossible to get one at a decent price in Canada. The options I found would not sell only the base, and the top were very pricey. This is the best balance, in my opinion. Yes, it's a Chinese base, but everything points out to a good one that will outlast many cheaper ones. When I will have made my hardwood top, it will look and react just like the higher priced ones I was looking at.
