I had to wipe off a small stain (similar to a Lysol wipe), and the coloring of the mat was also removed.

For the sale price of $10, I'm not sure if there's any way to beat this. The tripod is made of budget materials, and basic functionality, but it is a very good price and gets the job done. It is light weight too.
