Both the cable and connectors seem sturdy and well-made. The cable is thick and gives the impression that it will outlast any other ethernet cable that I own. I did feel a fine, powdery texture on the cable. However, there was no visible residue left anywhere, so it did not affect my review. With how impressed I was with the build-quality and price, I've already purchased a second cable.

The cable came exactly as described along with a handful of handy velcro-strips to help keep the cord both wrapped and attached to other items. I've recommended the entire range of Ethernet cords on this site to any friend who happens to need a new one and they've all been pleased with the item, shipping time, and speeds.
