Interesting travel gadget. The missing fifth "leaf" is because you need robust fingernails to extract the micro-USB and lightning adapters from the box ... it's true you wouldn't want them to be too loose either, as they are placed on both faces of the "drawer" and may be lost if they fall.

I have the older version, but I needed the PD charging. It works well. The removable/replaceable separators are useful. The only drawback is that its Figure-8 power cord port is on the narrow side, near the ON/OFF button, which makes the power cord be in your way no matter how you place it (the old one had a small round power port on one side, way less intrusive). I had to buy a special right angle cord to solve this.

For occasional printing, this seems best for me. Too bad that, without some "special", this alone doesn't qualify for free shipping. Note that I have never tried its remanufactured alternative.

There are some PCIe USB3 cards that come with a low profile bracket but have the MOLEX power connector on top of the card (bad engineering). This cable is the only way I found to use them in a low profile computer case.
