I bought this since the price was much more affordable than replacing the maintenance box with an actual "Epson" product ... However, since I bought this before I actually need to replace the original one, I am unable to comment on its compatibility -- but I am hopeful and suspect it will work out just fine ...

I am essentially very happy with this product -- I like the flexibility in placing and that it covers a larger area than the usual outdoor umbrellas ... a good deal for the price ... I would have given it 5 stars, but the instructions were pretty much next to useless ... The black & white photos were too dark to distinguish details while the very limited written instructions were of no help either ...

Due to major renovations, I have not had a chance to try it out yet, but I really appreciate this item being powered by solar means (rather than having to wire it into the electrical system) which means placement and location are much more flexible -- looking forward to being able to set it up soon ...

So often, I need to USB charge more than one device and this certainly helps and the fact that the electrical prongs fold away makes this ideal (especially for traveling, etc.)-- very handy!

It is a good idea, and I love the fact that the electrical prongs fold in, but I am having difficulty unfolding the prongs and I'm not sure if that happens to be just this specific one or if that is a design flaw ... I do like the idea though!
