Crimper works very well with the RJ45 modular plug. Keep in mind that this crimper does not work with RJ11 plugs. The cable tester performs tests in cable pairs. The transceiver can be separated from the receiver so you can perform testing even wire ends are far apart. This kit is totally worth the money. Highly recommended.

I was surprised by the quality of this keystone. It uses tough plastic and comes with a lever to help you close & puncture the wires. With the wire dividers inside, it's easy to fit in each of the 8 wires into proper slots. The colored legend properly shows you which wire you should fit into which slot. I highly recommend this product.

The toolkit is totally worth the price. You're able to make your own patch cables with desired length easily. The cable tester is very handy to help troubleshoot cable related problems. The tester can be split into two separate modules. Simply connect one module to one cable end then connect the other module to the other cable end. The indicator lights will show you connectivity of each of the 8 wires inside the cable. I recommend this product.
