Cascades

The Corporation was founded in 1964, during an era of Quebec history known as the Quiet Revolution.

Before even creating Cascades, the Lemaire family already knew a thing or two about green living. Although the concept of sustainable development was still a long way off, these Quebeckers shared a deep conviction: reusing, recovering and recycling were practices that could benefit the environment and society. Too many useful materials are thrown away—why not use old things to make new things!
