Standard batteries for a good price, cheap enough to keep on hand for spares.

For the price seems okay. It would be great if they got some higher mah batteries as run time is a bit short. Would also like to see some higher current cells that could be charged at a higher rate than the included 450 ma charger. Motor isn't super strong will stall out when putting much pressure into a knot in the wood or if get off on the angle a bit and the blade binds. Stops cutting at about 17.17v (3.434v/cell) remaining in battery and charges battery up to 20.86v (4.172v/cell). run time is only a few minutes, and it gets on the hotter side if running it continuous for longer cuts. With the included (1..5ah) battery I calculated it cut right around 8 feet of 2x4 material (cedar) on a full charge before it quit. For what it is and the price it makes a good hobby saw for making a few cuts on small projects. Prime Cables I would love to see you come out with a 4-5ah battery for this saw, or even a double of current battery making 3 ah in the $30 price range. Of course with a faster charge rate.

Quality seems fine especially for the price. Not a lot to say they are basic saw blades.
