The unit I received needed a little lubrication on the depth gauge but came with a battery and was noted to be accurate against another more expensive caliper. No easily accessible serial port for you hackers, but a good enough price to be an easy first or spare.

I ended up giving one to my child, and one is used as a todo list. Surprisingly durable under toddler use, and it quickly became her favourite drawing toy on the go. Quite useful as a large reusable notepad since you can pick it up and write without any additional surface, though the included pen's line width is about 2mm so don't expect to write a novella on there.

This pen works as intended and manages to keep its external surfaces surprisingly cool, so I've used this to construct quick jigs where a glue gun is a bit too cumbersome, or for my originally intended use of correcting minor structural defects in 3d printed PLA parts.

The configuration on this power bar is wonderful for a combination of AC cables and power bricks, and the built-in USB charging frees up a couple ports and on measuring with an android phone delivers the specified 3.1 amps. Of course some manufacturers have the body of the power brick go off to a side rather than up or down, so naturally there are still games to play to get everything to fit, but this is the best outlet configuration I've found at a reasonable price (and with proper Canadian certifications for safety!) so far.

This went together very well with a simple 1.25" desktop purchased elsewhere, was quite easy to assemble and the single motor linkage offers enough compliance to function even if accidentally assembled a little crooked. During assembly the whole thing seems a bit heavy but in practice this really helps with stability when at standing height. In the future I'd spend a bit more for the model with programmable setpoints, but the motor moves with a very reasonable pace and strength, not too slow to be annoying, and not too fast that you can't stop it in time from pulling or pinching a cable. The included cable management parts were a really nice plus.

Good directional sound packed into a relatively light and easy to mount package. Setup was very easy and the only hangup was my own misunderstanding of the directions, thinking the unit's standby light was the power light. After clearing that silly assumption everything made sense even without reading the rest of the instructions, and bluetooth mode paired and performed as expected with my Android phone.

Build quality is excellent and measured to meet its current spec. A little bigger than a typical 5W cube adapter, look closely at the port size, but much smaller and more convenient than 90 degree wall adapters.

Speakers are robust and well built, bluetooth range is as decent as expected, and the device contains a nice automatic selection of the line-in if present. Sound quality is pretty good, though it comes up a bit short on mid/low levels compared to 5-speaker systems many times its price. Very useful to add a conveniently accessed sound system to a room, but don't expect it to replace a more expensive sound bar or surround system.

Great overall build quality, and the placement of outlets has been as convenient as hoped! USB charging ports work as specified, saving a couple outlets for other devices. The AC cable seems to be a bit loose on both units I purchased, where enters the body of the surge protector, but build quality otherwise meets expectations.

Similar to the blue model, the chair goes together very easily. With the elastics holding the frame pieces in you really just need to shake it a bit and the frame pops into form. Not much back support for a 6ft tall person but with the 4 foot pieces popped on it's quite stable, and doesn't feel like you'll fall backwards from leaning too far back. At 190lbs the seat feels like it compresses the hips a bit when sitting forward, but when sitting back the chair material distributes weight more evenly. The chair includes a velcro tie to keep the collapsed frame pieces together, and everything fits in the bag with a bit of room to spare so packup is very easy. The red chair seems to have a slightly different foot style compared to the blue chair: the parts that pop into the extra 4 foot pieces are perfectly smooth, whereas the blue chair's parts are ridged as if for better grip if used without the add-on feet.

Went together easily, everything feels solid, and the maximum height is quite high giving a lot of range. Rounded edges and powder coating on all parts means no sharp edges to watch during assembly, so I could let my child help build it up, and it effortlessly lifted her afterwards. The posted duty cycle suggests the motor can't be used continuously, but it didn't get warm in all the time we played with it before it became a desk, so that's encouraging!
