I had this powering my bedside clock and phone charger, so the first time it had to carry a proper load (laptop charger, 2 monitors, powered USB 3.0 hub) was in early 2020 as I set up my WFH station. I would turn the power strip off at the end of the day (work/life balance, folks!) but a couple months ago I noticed the power switch stopped being reliable. At the start of the day it wouldn't want to stay in the "on" position unless I laid a pen on it for a few minutes, after which point it would stay active. But because I turn off the whole workstation daily, this power strip had to be moved elsewhere so it could just stay on perpetually. So be forewarned if you're going to put this somewhere that will rely on regular use of its switch.

Installation was as easy as implied, but everyone should check where the connection and shut-off is in their situation. If it's going to be difficult, you can know that now. Once installed, I did notice that it keeps the toilet seat suspended above the bowl about a centimetre. I bought a set of bumpers advertised as helping solve this bidet gap problem, but you end up needing a surprisingly tall bumper to bridge the gap from the recessed underside of the seat to the surface of the bowl. A side effect of this gap is that when you sit, the seat pushes on the housing for the nozzles, tipping them slightly down and forward, which isn't ideal. So bumpers are an absolute must: I wish Shopper+ sold a set of extra-tall ones like I just bought on eBay, or included them with this model. This awkwardness is why I rated the unit 4 stars. As for use, I guess we've got good water pressure because I've found I need to be very slow about turning the dial or risk some discomfort when the nozzle finds its target. I realized after installation that as straight as I thought I had the bidet, it's off-centre by a few millimetres. That's something that can be compensated for by just leaning a bit, but you should bear in mind that this kind of bidet does require that you get comfortable with disassembling and reassembling your toilet seat once in a while to get things back on target. Speaking of hitting the target, I installed this in January so it was immediately clear whether being cold water-only would be a problem: again, you want to dial up pressure slowly and ease into the washing experience, but the cold jet isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. When we move in a few months we'll be taking this with us, if that gives you a sense of overall satisfaction.

No need to spend so much on HP's official toner. This does the job cost-effectively.

Robust cable that stays untangled, clips properly into sockets with each end, and rolls up nicely with the included velcro tie to slip into my bag at the end of the day. Perfect accessory, reasonably priced.

If you're now in a hybrid working situation, this is the charger to get. Very sturdy build, with the retractable prongs it's easy to slip into an inner pocket in a messenger bag, and the multiple high-powered ports are all you need to power a laptop and a few other devices—without tying up any of your computer's ports.

It worked great sitting in one spot through the winter. But then as weather warmed I attempted to turn it down I discovered the 3-stage power knob will now only turn down from 3 to 2; so the knob can't be used to turn it off anymore. (It's attached to a power strip that I turn off every night, so it hasn't been running continuously and I hadn't noticed the broken knob earlier). And since making that discovery and adjustment, the unit doesn't heat at all, though the light comes on. I've unplugged it and replugged hours later, to no good result. In short, after 1 season, and an attempt to turn it down, it's junk. If you buy it, just turn it on and leave it on. Unplug to turn it off.

The base is so big and sturdy it comfortably accommodates my centre channel speaker right under my 46" TV (I'm old school, with a 5-point full-range surround system) which is nice since most entertainment furniture now seems to assume you're going to use a soundbar. I get to have the speaker positioned where I need it, and its weight adds to the already rock-solid stability of the stand.

I'd give a perfect score if the thing had feet for sitting it on a desktop; it seems built only to mount on a mic stand. Of course you could sit it on whatever you wanted, but it's likely to scratch since it has no feet or any obvious place to put pads. I set it up using the Monoprice gooseneck mic stand with a Blue Snowball ICE USB mic. A little tricky to get the balance just right, but I figured it out. Monitoring in Audacity, it looks like this shield takes normal background noise from about -35db to -45db. Very approximate, but it's a noticeable difference. I wasn't sure if I had all the necessary parts for setup, but once I disassembled the mic attachment I got it sorted -- the manual isn't great. My whole setup is very ad hoc; I had to throw it together when COVID-19 meant I'd be producing a podcast for work from home instead of the slightly soundproofed room we made at the office. If you're in that kind of situation, I recommend this isolation shield. Pair it with a sturdy mic stand (and something soft like a blanket behind you) and you're set.

Excellent cables at a very fair price. Everything in my AV setup is connected by PrimeCables.

So easy to hook up I was sure I couldn't have done it right. But it really is as easy as plugging in 1 ethernet cable to your router and then plugging in all the devices you want to hook up until you're out of ports. Unbelievable. Works so well I forget it's there behind my TV feeding Apple TV, Chromecast, my receiver, and Blu Ray.

I bought this on a whim for my mom when she was cancelling her cable subscription and switching to streaming full-time for all her viewing needs. I thought this might be helpful since she's most comfortable viewing live TV, and I was already ordering a bunch of other supplies so I added it on because why not at this price? It's been over 6 months and she's very happy with it which means I'm very happy with it.

A handsome and sturdy piece of hardware. Excellent instruction set and very clearly labelled parts made assembly nice and easy.
