I now own 5 of these oil radiator heaters. 3 much more expensive name brand ones and now 2 of these. These are fantastic heaters at a fantastic price compared to the name brand ones. basically 2 of these for one of the others. they work just as well, throw off a nice warm consistent heat even on low. And the money they save me on propane not having to run my furnace nearly as much more than makes up for the purchase of all 5 even factoring in the additional hydro...which really isn't all that much. An extra $50 a month hydro running 3 at a time on low. Much less than the cost of refilling my propane tanks every 6 weeks...which I no longer have to do running these in addition to the furnace. They are super efficient and use very little hydro. They are sure nice to have as a backup in case my furnace stops working in minus 20 cold. As for longevity of these cheaper ones....time will tell.

I purchased this for my basement when guests stay with us. It is a great unit -- silent and heats up quickly. It was easy to assemble and sits nicely on the hardwood floor or carpet. Because it cannot tip over, I feel assured that it won't fall and possibly cause a fire like my old space heater (contained exposed coils). This is definitely one of the best purchases I've made for our unit this winter. Recommend!

This radiator works great!!! Love the fact that not only is it very quiet but when it reaches the desired temperature, it turns off, keeping a constant warmth. I put this unit in a bedroom in the basement and now it is comfortable for my guests to sleep in. So happy with purchase.

The temperature control button is quite flimsy, and there is no indication of the unit being on or off. It looks like the indication light is not working
