The winding mechanism that opens and closes the umbrella is made out of plastic which arrived broken for me. Seems like a good product otherwise but the plastic handle means it won't last.

I've been using this desk for 3 months now, built with an ikea gerton desk top. It takes a while to build by yourself but it's solid once finished. I recommend buying some sort or cable organizer to keep things tidy. At standing height the desk is a little wobbly but perfectly usable.

These were a lot thinner than I was expecting. You can probably fit about 3 cat5e cables comfortable in them 4 if you really squeeze them in there. They do a good job of hiding the cables, no complaints

I was able to mount my 32" Asus VA32AQ monitor on it and it held even though the description says up to 27". Only concern is that the holes for mounting to the desk weren't properly aligned and required a lot of effort to force the screw alignment. I bought 4 of these and 1 or them had this problem.
