Solid build quality, and very easy to assemble. From opening the box, it took me maybe 30 seconds at most to put it together, and is very easy to adjust the height (the footrest slots in with prongs/hooks). At first I wasn't sure if the angle of tilt would be uncomfortable, but actually it's pretty much perfect in terms of comfort. One thing to note is that there is a felt pad on the foot rest, which wasn't apparent to me in the photo (wasn't sure if it would be rubber or something). How well it holds up over time remains to be seen, although I don't use it with shoes.

I was using a tackle box before this arrived, as I have a tall drafting height desk chair, THIS IS WAY BETTER!! LOL! The top of the footrest platform is felted, and since I like being barefoot in the house, it's comfortable (not ice cold like a metal platform would be). I even use the foam handle area to stretch my leg(s) out when I need too.

False advertising. The ad showed someone standing on it but the package specifically says not to stand on it. It works as a footrest. My cat's fur gets really stuck into the fabric, and being on the floor it attracts a lot of fur.

Decent medium duty (not really heavy duty as label suggests) footrest. I wouldn't stand on it, but for a higher footrest for a counter height - it's perfect
