The steel quality was great - overall felt sturdy. However, note that the 'important' pieces were actually plastic - this would be the cantilever adjustment and the locking mechanism. I already saw the one that I got had warped. The umbrella fabric felt good, and felt heavy duty enough to probably not fade - the stitching however was not the greatest.

The stand itself has solid construction and feels sturdy prior to setting it up. However, once fully set up, you will notice that there is an inherent flaw. Due to the ‘top heavy’ nature of the frame, a larger table top will result in noticeable wobble/shakiness when in use (e.g. typing, writing, etc.) The reason this is ‘top heavy’ is because they have the motor right under the desktop, and because the way the desk is made, when it rises, the heavier metal overlays will rise up, leaving only the interior metal structure at the bottom part of the legs - this is hard to explain, but if you look at the photo closely at the legs, you can see that the thinner part of the leg is attached to the base, while the thicker part is closer to the top where the desktop would be. Inherently this creates uneven weight distribution. Upon speaking with PrimeCables, there was a lot of back and forth before they ultimately told me this is a design issue with no solution. Given it is heavy and time consuming to assemble/disassemble, they did try their best to come to a resolution.

Solid quality overall, however, I wish the mesh was stronger. If I put anything too heavy underneath I suspect it will warp over time.

The frame is made of metal and seems sturdy, however, it leans forward when you dock the Dyson. The longevity of the stand is therefore questionable, but for the price, it is quite good.

I liked the concept of this product, but it simply does not stay in place when you try to use the paper towel 'feature' of this product. It also does not fit a 'standard' size paper towel roll without forcing the paper towel roll on the peg.

Great build quality dual monitor mount. Looks like it will hold up well. I was initially concerned that the 'hinge' which holds onto the desk would be too narrow, thus putting too much pressure on one spot of the desk, but when the product arrived, it was wide enough to distribute the weight enough in my opinion.

Although made of solid steel, the way the stem pieces are assembled (small bolts/screws to attach the stem pieces) make the stand 'slouch' forward when the Dyson is docked. Over time I think it will stay 'slouched' and no amount of tightening has fixed this issue. To get around this, I just don't keep the floor attachment on the Dyson handheld unit when docking.
