I bought this mainly to charge by Samsung Galaxy S6, but a lot depends on the cable you use. I installed the Galaxy Charging Current app on my phone to try and see how much power it was getting and the app reported it was getting a max of 500ma with a 10 foot USB cable. Using a shorter cable such as the one that came with my S6 or the one that came with my tablet I am able to see the full current amount. Keep in mind that this charger will not provide full power with just any USB cable, you need a cable specified for charging.

I really like it. It does what it needs to do, which is to give the user quick access to a wireless network when a wired solution is not available. I've used it on my desktop, laptop, and media centre. Throughput is pretty good, as is signal strength. After running the usual speedtest check I find that even though it's a Wireless N device I'm seeing 44/down, and 5/up which is pretty good considering that the service is for 50/down, 5/up. So in conclusion, I can safely recommend this adapter for a quick and painless wireless solution.

Excellent little tool for hobbyists. I use it to solder as well as for fine detailing work on my model cars. The butterfly screws are a little tough to use but a small dab of lube or continuous use will make it easy. You can rotate and adjust the angles of the alligator clips and the magnifying glass. You cannot move the alligator clips closer together but you can move the magnifying glass long one half of the metal frame (which it is attached to). Soldering iron holder is a nice touch if you don't have one already and with the built in LED's to light up the work area, this is a great deal. Only complaint is the base could be a bit heavier as heavier PCB's or objects tend to make it tip over.

These are well built and feature strain-relief collars that should prevent fraying during normal use. The cables are very affordable and even the longest models are very well priced. The whole cable has a solid build quality and does not feel cheap at all. Has worked very well with every device I've tried it with and looks like it should last a long time. Will definitely buy again. Getting the charger which is very well built is a great extra!

Has worked very well with every device I've tried it with and looks like it should last a long time. Will definitely buy again. Even includes caps for the ends of the cables.
