Cable arrived quickly (same day as the sub-woofer showed up!) and my Yamaha speaker & AV Amp were happily married! Some tech info for newbies: the cable has **one **phono plug type input but it is wired for stereo. It is required for an ACTIVE sub-woofer (it needs its own AC plugin). There will be a reciprocal phono output on your amp. Stick to quality cables like this one: you don't want a BLINKY THE CLOWN cable sending distorted bass signals to your woofer, unless you want to buy a replacement (200-400$).
