This is a Banana Binding Post Two-Piece Inset Wall Plate. These are gold plated connectors that maximize conductibility for optimal transmit quality while preventing corrosion.

This product can either be used with banana plugs (product Cab- 2801 or Cab-2943) or it can accept bare wire connections on both the front and rear of the plate.
