5pin to 11pin Micro USB Adapter for MHL Adapters and Samsung Galaxy S3 & S4
One of the cool things about the new Samsung Galaxy SIII and S4 is their ability to output full 1080p high definition video. To do this you need to use an MHL adapter, such as Micro USB to HDMI® MHL Adapter - Black. However, Samsung uses a nonstandard micro-USB connector with 11 pins, rather than the 5 pins used by standard micro-USB connectors.
This adapter is designed to convert the 11-pin output of the S3 or S4 to a standard 5-pin output, thereby allowing existing MHL adapters to work properly with them. The adapter is functionally identical to the adapter offered by Samsung, but is available in marble white, to match the color of the marble white version of the S3 or S4.
This adapter has an extra long micro-USB plug, which allows it to make a complete connection even when there is a case on the phone.

- This cable is not compatible with iOS devices (iPhone, iPad etc.)
- MHL Technology is supported by only the latest mobile devices. Please check the capabilities of your device and display to make sure it supports MHL. A list of compatible devices can be found here.
- To use this cable with Samsung Galaxy phones, such as the S3,S4, Note 2 and Note 3 with the 11-pin Micro-B connector please use our
- 5-pin to 11-pin adapter.
- The adapter must be connected directly from your device to your display. The audio and video output will not work correctly if connected through a desktop dock.
- This cable contains no electronics so your display must have a MHL equipped HDMI port.
