Heat shrinkable polyolefin is commonly used for insulating, jacketing, bundling, and identification. It forms a tight mechanical bond over irregularly shaped materials, and tubing shrinks at a temperature of 250-F (121-C). Heat shrinkable polyolefin meets a wide range of UL and mil-spec standards, is mechanically tough, and has good abrasion and solvent resistance.
