It’s designed for network equipment that requires singlemode fiber-optic patch cables and SC/APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors. LC connectors are one of the most popular fiber connectors in the industry, and are used with devices such as SPF modules, media converters etc. SC connectors are physically similar, but approximately twice the size. The SC/APC connectors have angled ends to reduce back reflection and maintain a tight connection. It is manufactured using top-quality materials.
