            I bought this unit to carry HDMI in wall over a distance of around 35-40 feet on the understanding that it would be more reliable than a straight HDMI cable. The performance was not acceptable. While the video was good, but the audio kept dropping out every few seconds. I subsequently bought an HDMI cable to run in wall and it works fine. The extender, and the two cat 6 cables, were a waste of money. Totally useless. The accompanying manual provided no help. Regards,
