PC Laptop VGA To TV AV RCA Composite S-Video Signal Mini Converter Adapter Box - PrimeCables®
Bought this to connect a VGA-only computer to a standard def TV via S-Video. It works as expected, video looks good, text is--also as expected--rather blurry. The manual does not mention the DIP switches at all, so had to experiment to get the correct setting. The manual is also written in really bad English. I used a extra power adapter of mine to provider a permanent source of power, as the devices resets when power is lost (eg, if using USB for power and the computer is turned off). I like that it comes with all the necessary cables, didn't expect that at the price I paid. Has plenty of adjustments, such as screen position, vertical & horizontal size, sharpness, etc. Will update this review later when I'm better able to comment on its longevity.

Very easy to connect. I would have expected better video quality but the product is giving good results
Works well. At first, the image was horrible, but came out clear after switching the two pins down. Apparently it comes out of the box configured for PAL whereas our old TVs are usually NTSC. As stated in other comments, text gets flickery and difficult to read. I suggest reducing the computer's resolution to better match that of the TV. Mine's a simple 480p, so I set the computer to 640x480 60hz.
Works really not well. Produces poor picture. not satisfied. I don't use it any more.
