I had been using a multi purpose cutter that was more aimed at cutting coax cables. The performance was ok. Then I tried using the simple little yellow cutters, same result. With Cat6 cables from Prime Cables being on the thicker side, I was not getting the cut quality and steady performance I was looking for. The Monoprice cutter will take care of that. Once adjusted properly, I was able to do repetitive cuts with no problems. Great tool.
