I purchased this particular model to get started with flash photography, before spending a small fortune. I did quite a bit of on-line research about third-party speedlights, and this one was reasonably rated. It seems to be solidly built, and I have no issues only having it a few days. However, while not billed a high-end speedlight, it has exceeded my initial expectations. The unit offers the TTL (through the lens) function, wireless slave 1 & 2, strobe, multi-flash, sleep mode, and can be controlled by the flash function menu settings on my Canon TS6. I would definitely recommend it for newbies to flash photography.

I wanted to acquaint myself with external flash photography, and I pleasantly surprised with the features of this so-to-speak entry level speed light. The TTL and remote firing were an added bonus. So far, I have been very pleased with the photographic results. Would recommend it for first timers.

I doubt the GN of 42 is accurate. This flash is pretty weak. Aside from that the build quality is great and so are the features. It is a good deal for the price.

Not a lot of bells and whistles, but for the price it cannot be beat.

Not really try it and it seems quite good. As I lived in Richmond, BC. and so please bring more product lines to your Richmond Office.
