Exactly what I needed. I had received an iPad during a work trip to France containing work related publications, and the plug was for European outlets. When I returned home I either used an adapter or another North American plug to charge the unit. Apple would not sell me the adapter required to make the plug assembly fit North American standards, so this adapter was an ideal solution, at a fraction of the cost of a new plug from Apple. It fit exactly, works as if it were OEM, and was very cost effective. Thank you.
