There are 2 alignment pins to help with installation. All-in-One printer just dropped on top and that was that. On first run with a couple of sheets of paper we got a warning that there was a paper jam. Opened the paper tray, loaded more paper then tried again........perfect! Well worth the cost if you don't want to be re-filling the standard paper tray all the time..
