Tested with gigabit connection and works well, however, i've not installed it yet. Will install an outdoor ethernet run soon and this hits all the boxes. It is thick and solid, almost too inflexible. But I suppose that means it will also last longer. Primecables don't sell a version of this without the shrouds--- but they should because they were useless for my application and I would have bought one without shrouds.

This is a very unique product and has been a real find to ensure waterproof connection of equipment outside that needs to connect to the modem inside. The F-F coupler makes it the perfect combination for our application.
