Way better deal than some other small name-brand capture cards on the market and has a video out for real-time monitoring in addition to the input into OBS/Xsplit, etc.

Bought this on sale for like $55 CAD and works just the same as an Elgato.

a little quirky on Linux but it works well for my purpose.. recording from Steam Deck. Wish the quality was a little higher. I think these tend to work better in Windows with OBS

Works amazing on both Windows and macOS with OBS though either the usb-c or usb-a ports. I love that it is type-c first, then has the adapter for type-a. The passthrough HMDI output also works great. This is a way better buy than some other name-brand capture cards on the market.
