I needed a lamp that was able to clip on a Hospital headboard just over 2 inches thick. This worked. The neck is very flexible and hold’s its position. Bulb gives a soft light in a 4 foot circumference. I’m happy with this purchase.

Great lamp. The bulb doesn't come out though, so it can't be replaced unless I rip it open and see what's inside
