I don't know if the cartridge is fresh because I haven't installed it yet. I bought two in 2015 (1 as back-up) and the powder is dry. I have to shake it before every print! I suspect that if I don't use the one I just purchased for a few years, it will end up drying up as well??? The back-ups are the "compatible" ones. I would like someone to call me on the phone to discuss.
