The build quality is mediocre but it works. You have to turn it and get the right angle sometimes for the cable to work without static.

I have skull candy headphones with a jack in the headset. The problem with this cable is that this cable's male end would not fit into the headset. I don't know why. I've had similar problems with other 3.5 male to male cables with this particular headphone. Other 3.5mm cables do work, including the one that came with the headset, and one I just got from China through Ebay. So there must be some tiny anomalies between different cables. Anyway, the cable was essentially useless. But at 1.99 not such a great loss. This may be an issue specific to these headphones, but is still a nuisance.
