Just didn't work for me but was worth a try... can't fault the adapter. I needed to go from thunderbolt to HDMI to a 3rd monitor but it kept blinking about every 30 seconds. What did finally work was going from thunderbolt to DVI and then to HDMI. I believe the problem is that HDMI wants to carry audio from the thunderbolt port and kept "looking" for it and interrupting the signal. My audio is routed elsewhere so, by inserting a DVI coupler at the port it no longer looked for audio signal... everything works as intended. Hope this helps Mac owners.

These are a good price, but the failure rate seems high. I buy lots of them and it seems like about 10 - 20% fail just past the warranty mark. It would be nice to see a braided version that lasts longer (or one with a lifetime warranty).

Worked fine with a surface for a while - now it is flashing when connected to projector.

I made a mistake and thought this item did something else. However, it fit's perfect into my computer and is made well. It is not super functional in my opinion. You have to have exactly the right devices. If that makes sense.
