Network Cable Tester & Crimping Tools Combo for RJ-45 RJ-11 - PrimeCables®
The crimper is a hefty thing. No fine craftsmanship there, some rough edges, but it does it's job and reliably so. The tester works well but feels disturbingly flimsy. There is a ground LED on it that has never lit up, and I'm unsure of its function or if it is broken. The instructions are only those on the item, pictured - not at all helpful and only readable in perfect, indirect light. Definitely needs an info card.
I bought this for my work place as it is quite common for staffs at work to keep breaking their Ethernet cable plugs (for no particular reason) and complain about losing internet connections. The crimping tool worked perfectly even for a guy like me who have zero experience with crimping (but did need to press really really really really really hard). Still have not found the time to try the testers though.
Works as expected. handy tools for light duty work. I don't use it daily but its been dependable when I've needed it
the tool does not include a wire stripper function.
Great price does what it should
Great tools to make perfect working cables and tested it after each one. With this testing tool, I can easily troubleshooting my basement connectivity to bedroom upstairs.
