Does everything it needs to with a long cable, which was the initial reason I bought it. You can plug things into it and they get power, they're supposedly protected from surges and nothing has blown up on me yet. Cable is angled to the side and stays out of the way, while staying pretty flat against the wall. Pretty sure that covers all of the needs you could possibly have when trying to decide which surge protector to purchase.

Belkin surge protector products are excellent, and I'm in the process of moving all my power bars over to Belkin ones. Well worth the price.
