Have only used the HDMI output of this device and it works fine. Bought these because the cheapo mini-DP to HDMI I got previously elsewhere did not go above 1080p and would keep cutting out the video signal. Replaced with this adapter on exact same monitor and the video never cut out. However, did not try 4K as the monitor was only a 32" 1440p monitor (WQHD??).

Appears to be the right thing and arrived in good time...cannot comment on quality since item was bought with a FUTURE computer purchase in mind....would like to see more FIREWIRE adapters and cables....firewire to thunderbolt three in one cable would be great.

Does it's job when I tested it from miniDP to DVI/HDMI. Sadly could not daisy chain it with the DisplayPort 1.2a to DVI Active Adapter to a Korean LCD, but such is life.

Works great at higher resolutions.

Great bang for the buck. MiniDP adapters can be so expensive
