Well, it simply just did not work. My application was reasonably simple - to be able to switch between two video monitors. One monitor was co-located with the switch; the other was located about 50 feet away. No indicator lights were visible on the HDMI switch. I had carefully powered everything down before I plugged the switch in. Disappointed, as it looked like a reasonable solution. So, I am back to my earlier process of swapping cables when I want to switch monitors.

This item worked for some devices but not all. It could not maintain the signal from my satellite receiver. I ordered a different item that works with all my HDMI devices.
