I connected a end and it broke and had to use a screw on type NOT HAPPY

I got the 100' cable, and it causes my modem to add an additional10dBmV to the upstream power, which puts it right on the edge of its operating limit, causing it to drop the connection. To be fair, it's been encased in spray foam, and it's possible that damaged the cable, but I think that's unlikely since I have other cables also in the spray foam, and they're working fine.
