The cable was defective :( will need to return/replace. A strong buzzing sound was coming through my sub when it was plugged in. Jiggling the cable stopped all sound coming though

Seemed to work fine, until I had to unplug it and the male prong broke off inside of my subwoofer - I have never had this happen before -this is very poorly built- which ended up damaging my subwoofer and costing me over a hundred dollars in repair fees! Just to be clear I have not tried to force it out or warped it in any way.
