RCA cables are meant to be shielded. The center pin connects the signal, and the outer grips are connected to the shield, which surrounds the centre conductor in the cable and is connected to ground at one end, shielding the signal from outside noise. In these 'RCA' cables, the cable is NOT shielded. It is a standard two conductor cable. You will experience added noise if you use these cables. For some signals it may go unnoticed but for a sensitive signal such as a phono or similar, it will likely be unusable.
