This IEEE-1394 firewire iLink DV cable worked very well. I used it to transfer video from a video camera to a computer that had a firewire port. Had no problems with image quality. I recommend this cable as it does what it should.

It was exactly what I needed to hook a legacy video camera up to a legacy DVD video recorder so that I could copy some of my old videos onto DVDs.
