    I was using 16 AWG before and now I need bigger wires that's why I purchased it. Wire is pretty good even thin shell than previous 16 AWG cable but think copper inside which shows its definitely 14 AWG as described (i am not an electrician though). After plugging the wires with home theatre, I got a great sound. I am happy with my purchase.
