Skeptical at first whether this would work for my Nikon D7100 DSLR. For the price, I thought I would take my chances. Just arrived and immediately tested it out; IT WORKED! I've been trying to tether my DSLR to my laptop for my photo shoots so that my client can immediately review the shots I take on a bigger screen. My present setup is using Wifi to transfer pictures over to my laptop; takes about 5 seconds for every picture which means 5 seconds wait before I can shoot my next shot. With this cable, pictures are shown on my laptop almost immediately which is perfect to show to my clients and get them to review it on the spot. My wifi setup was also very draining on the battery. So after connecting my camera to my laptop with this cable, to my delight it is showing that its charging my camera too! If there is a longer cable that'll be even better! But otherwise, this is an amazing buy.
