These pack flat enough that I can stick them in my purse or my briefcase; they are comfortable to wear. I have problems with ear buds - they fall out or are super uncomfortable. These headphones always go with me so i can plug into my ipad so I don't disturb my neighbours in a restaurant or coffee shop or waiting for an appointment. Anywhere that I might want to listen to a video. The sound quality is good. But, frankly, at the price I was not expecting anything fancy. They work great for what I need.
