I have owned 6 of these for several years. They work well at first but eventually all break where the mono plug attaches to the RCA jack. There is just a tiny lip the plug fits over and it is only a matter of time before it comes apart. If this happens when jack is engaged, you will need to disassemble and repair whatever you have it plugged into before you can plug another jack in. Trust me I know this first hand.
