Good quality product except for the holes receiving the wall plate screws. It could be that the combination I was sold, that had mismatched screws - but I believe all of those are kind of standard. Long story short... "1 Port Keystone Wall Plate" also bought from this website, happened to have the screws lose in these brackets.

It doesn't require large cut. Easier to have cover plate on it. But, the latch breaks easily so it wouldn't hold on to the drywall. The two latches are off-centered so the plate doesn't flush perfectly to the wall. Would not recommended.

I ordered this item a while ago, and the quality was impeccable. It was sturdy. This time, I ordered a pack of 10 and once I screw the bracket into the wall, it gets bent, and when you put the face plate on top, it looks crooked. Be aware

Just installed one of these. I'm starting to think that they are defective by design. I'm using them with Decora Strap Insert Plates for Keystone connectors. The front of the bracket sits on the drywall and has a thickness of 1 to 2mm. Because of that, there is an equivalent 1 to 2mm gap between standard Decora wall plates and the wall. Are there special (thicker) Decora wall plates to go with these brackets? If so, it would be great if you mentioned it in the product description so orders can be made accordingly. Otherwise maybe there is another solution? You will understand that such gap around the wall plates is not really acceptable as wall plates are all about providing a clean finish. Please let me know what I should do. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here. Thanks.
