The Banana Plugs works as intended. The Gold color is also a little more dull compared to 2 other brands I have. With higher gauge wire you'll need to twist the wire back on itself (Doubling up on the thickness) that way it actually camps down otherwise it might fall out. I am currently using them on 14AWG a feeding the cable through the bottom of the plug folding a U shape in the hole then clamping down to make sure it is tight. I was able to use them on 16 AWG using the same method. I have them plugged in ceiling hanging down and was able to hold no issues.

Works well, but hard to tighten the back by hand. Need to use pliers and a cloth to prevent scratching. Good value for money.

Gets the job done for the price. Fits very tightly and had to really push into the female socket to get the male plug in.

cannot be sufficiently tightened for speaker wires of size 16, only works well for size 14 and up
