Item stated that it worked with 12-18 AWG wire. I have 12 AWG speaker wire and this DOES NOT work with the Banana Plugs. If you follow the instructions the wires are too thick to fit back through the opening. Guess I now have to find something else that works with 12 AWG wire.

Fit and finish of these banana plugs is great......loading my speaker wire into the barrel and reassembling the plugs was quick and painless. The problem? These banana plugs start to close up once installed resulting in a loose fit.....to the point where 2 of them were falling out of my wall plates (ceiling mounted). Not ideal.
